LOCKN' FREE 2017 Livestream Courtesy of Ben and Jerry's, Airstream, and YouTube, with Suggested Donations to the Heal Charlottesville Fund

Can't make it to LOCKN' this year? Thanks to Ben and Jerry's, Airstream, and YouTube, you can enjoy the full weekend of live music for free! Make a donation to the Heal Charlottesville Fund by texting "LOCKN" to 444999.

Created by the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation, the Heal Charlottesville Fund was started to support both immediate needs and longer-term reconciliation and healing efforts. The Fund will work with local mental health providers to provide access to trauma and mental health services for residents, and ensure that residents are aware of this opportunity. It will also support victims injured in the recent car attack who may need assistance with medical expenses.

All donations are tax-deductible, and administered by HeadCount.org. HeadCount is a non-profit civic engagement organization that also runs the "Participation Row" social action village at LOCKN'. This year, 16 non-profit organizations will be featured at LOCKN's Particpation Row, including 10 based in Charlottesville or Nelson County. A full list can be found here.

Ben & Jerry's, Airstream, and YouTube are sponsoring the webcast, and Ben and Jerry's is sponsoring LOCKN's Participation Row. They'll be giving free scoops of ice cream to any LOCKN' attendee who visits Participation Row and takes actions with the various non-profit organizations. Bring on the couch tour!
